Stemming reduces inflected words to their stem or root form.
For example the words fishing, fished, fish, and fisher are reduced to the root word, fish,
so a search for fisher returns all the different variations
Returns only one member of a family of patents
Include Non-Patent literature in results

Provided herein is a viral RNA detection system, utilizing the RNA-targeting properties of the optimized Casl3d enzyme, CasRx, to detect SARS-CoV-2 RNA, e.g., synthetic SARS- CoV-2 RNA. The system detects novel target sequences conserved within the actively evolving genome, to provide a panel of diagnostic target sites least likely to result in false negatives due to genomic variation. Successful detection of viral RNA through both a fluorescence-based readout assay as well as a rapid paper dipstick lateral flow assay requiring no specialized laboratory equipment was shown. Low viral titers can be detected within minutes following only minutes of sample processing.

Methods and compositions for treating a severe acute respiratory syndrome- related coronavirus (SARS-CoV) infection in a subject in need are provided. In some aspects, a therapeutically effective amount of a Klotho polypeptide and/or a Klotho polynucleotide encoding a Klotho polypeptide is administered to the subject. In some other aspects, the subject is treated with a first therapy when the subject has diminished Klotho activity, and with a second therapy when the subject does not have diminished Klotho activity. Diminished Klotho activity is determined by comparing the amount of Klotho protein in a blood sample from the subject to a predetermined threshold. In particular, methods and compositions for treating SARS-CoV-2 infection are provided.
