Compositions and methods for grinding inorganic particles, such as cement, cement clinker, limestone, or other inorganic particles, involving a grinding efficiency enhancing additive comprising a crude glycerin byproduct, obtained through the use of heterogeneous catalyst processes in biodiesel fuel production. The molecules generated through the use of such heterogeneous catalytic processes result in a crude glycerin that confers good additive formulation stability, while avoiding or minimizing large quantities of undesirable compounds such as fatty acids, fatty acid esters, and salts.

La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés de broyage de particules inorganiques, telles que du ciment, du clinker de ciment, du calcaire, ou d'autres particules inorganiques, impliquant un additif qui améliore l'efficacité de broyage et comprenant un sous-produit de glycérine brute, obtenu par l'utilisation de procédés de catalyseur hétérogènes dans la production de carburant biodiesel. Les molécules générées par l'utilisation de ces procédés catalytiques hétérogènes conduisent à une glycérine brute qui confère une bonne stabilité de formulation additive, tout en évitant ou minimisant de grandes quantités de composés indésirables tels que des acides gras, des esters d'acides gras et des sels.
