Abstract
(EN) A vehicle brushless alternator assembly comprising: a claw pole rotor assembly having a pair of opposing pole pieces, the rotor defining an axis of rotation, each of the pole pieces having a plurality of circumferentially spaced pole fingers extending axially, the pole fingers of the rotor alternating between north and south magnetic polarities upon energization of the field coil; a cylindrical stator comprising armature enveloping the magnetic claw poles, the stator arranged coaxially relative to the drive shaft; a field coil structured to be positioned coaxially within an internal cavity of said rotor to arrange the field coil in a spaced apart relationship relative to internal walls defining the internal cavity of the said rotor; and a housing assembly surrounding said cylindrical stator with the drive shaft being supported by the housing assembly wherein the field coil is fixedly mounted to the housing assembly.
(FR) Ensemble alternateur sans balai de véhicule comprenant : un ensemble rotor à pôles à griffes comportant une paire de pièces polaires opposées, le rotor définissant un axe de rotation, chacune des pièces polaires ayant une pluralité de doigts polaires espacés de manière circonférentielle s'étendant axialement, les doigts polaires du rotor alternant entre des polarités magnétiques nord et sud lors de l'excitation de la bobine inductrice ; un stator cylindrique comprenant une armature magnétique enveloppant les pôles à griffes magnétiques, le stator étant disposé de manière coaxiale par rapport à l'arbre de transmission ; une bobine inductrice structurée pour être positionnée coaxialement à l'intérieur d'une cavité interne dudit rotor pour disposer la bobine inductrice dans une relation espacée par rapport à des parois internes définissant la cavité interne dudit rotor ; et un ensemble boîtier entourant ledit stator cylindrique, l'arbre de transmission étant supporté par l'ensemble boîtier, la bobine inductrice étant montée à demeure sur l'ensemble boîtier.
