Abstract
(EN)
An occupant safety system and method includes identifying a potential impact of a vehicle with an external object utilizing an environment sensor (602). A position of an occupant of the vehicle is sensed by one or more position sensors (604). An advantageous position of the occupant is determined based on the identified potential impact 8606). The occupant is then repositioned to the advantageous position in response to the identified potential impact (608).

Un système et un procédé de sécurité des occupants comprennent l'identification d'un impact potentiel d'un véhicule avec un objet externe à l'aide d'un capteur d'environnement (602).
