Abstract

A metal detector which comprises at least one sensor (5) for detecting the magnetic field created by a transmitter (3) and an error detection system that enables to determine the distortion by means of comparing the detected magnetic field to the ideal function and a corrective system (1,12) which enables to eliminate said distortion by means of the additional magnetic field that is created according to the detected distortion and/or by means of the current or voltage applied to the transmitter (3).

L'invention concerne un détecteur de métaux qui comprend au moins un capteur (5) pour détecter le champ magnétique créé par un émetteur (3) et un système de détection d'erreur qui permet de déterminer la distorsion par comparaison du champ magnétique détecté à la fonction idéale et un système de correction (1, 12) qui permet d'éliminer ladite distorsion au moyen du champ magnétique supplémentaire qui est créé en fonction de la distorsion détectée et/ou au moyen du courant ou de la tension appliqué(e) à l'émetteur (3).
