Abstract

A method for identifying a type of choroidal neovascularization in a retina of a human eye is disclosed, the method comprising receiving (S1), in a processor, optical coherence tomography data of the eye; generating (S2), in the processor, volume segments of the eye using the optical coherence tomography data and a neural network (3); and identifying (S3), in the processor, the type of choroidal neovascularization in the eye, using the volume segments, the type of choroidal neovascularization comprising one or more of the following: classic choroidal neovascularization (41) and occult choroidal neovascularization (42).

L'invention concerne un procédé d'identification d'un type de néovascularisation choroïdienne (CNV) dans une rétine d'un œil humain, le procédé consistant à : recevoir (S1), dans un processeur, des données de tomographie par cohérence optique de l'œil; générer (S2), dans le processeur, des segments de volume de l'œil à l'aide des données de tomographie par cohérence optique et d'un réseau neuronal (3); et identifier (S3), dans le processeur, le type de néovascularisation choroïdienne dans l'œil, à l'aide des segments de volume, le type de néovascularisation choroïdienne correspondant à une néovascularisation choroïdienne classique (41) et/ou à une néovascularisation choroïdienne occulte (42).
