Semiconductor-ferromagnetic insulator-superconductor hybrid device A semiconductor-ferromagnetic insulator-superconductor hybrid device (200) comprises a semiconductor component (20), a ferromagnetic insulator component (24), and a superconductor component (22). The semiconductor component has at least three facets (a, b, c). The ferromagnetic insulator component is arranged on a first facet and a second facet. The superconductor component is arranged on a third facet and extends over the ferromagnetic insulator component on at least the second facet. The device is useful for generating Majorana zero modes, which are useful for quantum computing. Also provided are a method of fabricating the device, and a method of inducing topological behaviour in the device.

L'invention concerne un dispositif hybride isolant-supraconducteur semi-conducteur-ferromagnétique (200) comprenant un composant semi-conducteur (20), un composant isolant ferromagnétique (24), et un composant supraconducteur (22). Le composant semi-conducteur présente au moins trois facettes (a, b, c). Le composant isolant-ferromagnétique est disposé sur une première facette et une deuxième facette. Le composant supraconducteur est disposé sur une troisième facette et s'étend sur le composant isolant ferromagnétique sur au moins la deuxième facette. Le dispositif est utile pour générer des modes zéro de Majorana, qui sont utiles pour le calcul quantique. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication du dispositif et un procédé pour induire un comportement topologique dans le dispositif.
