The present disclosure relates to a light-emitting device (100), comprising a dielectric layer (110) including a plurality of first quantum dots (112) embedded therein, wherein the plurality of first quantum dots (112) is configured to emit light of a first color; and a metamaterial structure (120) embedded in the dielectric layer (110), wherein the metamaterial structure (120) is configured to convert at least a portion of an energy released by the plurality of first quantum dots into surface plasmons.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif électroluminescent (100), comprenant une couche diélectrique (110) comportant une pluralité de premiers points quantiques (112) inclus dans celle-ci, la pluralité de premiers points quantiques (112) étant conçue pour émettre une lumière d'une première couleur; ainsi qu'une structure en métamatériau (120) intégrée dans la couche diélectrique (110), la structure en métamatériau (120) étant conçue pour convertir au moins une partie d'une énergie libérée par la pluralité de premiers points quantiques en plasmons de surface.
