Abstract
(EN) Pesticidal proteins exhibiting toxic activity against Lepidopteran pest species are disclosed, and include, but are not limited to, TIC4029, TIC4029_1, and TIC4029_8. DNA constructs are provided which contain a recombinant nucleic acid sequence encoding one or more of the disclosed pesticidal proteins. Transgenic plants, plant cells, seed, and plant parts resistant to Lepidopteran infestation are provided which contain recombinant nucleic acid sequences encoding pesticidal proteins of the TIC4029 class. Methods for detecting the presence of the recombinant nucleic acid sequences or the proteins of the TIC4029 class in a biological sample, and methods of controlling Lepidopteran species pests using any of the TIC4029, TIC4029_1, and TIC4029_8 pesticidal proteins are also provided.
(FR) Des protéines pesticides présentant une activité toxique contre des espèces nuisibles lépidoptères sont divulguées, comprenant, sans y être limité, TIC4029, TIC4029_1 et TIC4029_8. L'invention concerne des constructions génétiques qui contiennent une séquence d'acide nucléique recombinant codant pour une ou plusieurs des protéines pesticides divulguées. L'invention concerne des plantes transgéniques, des cellules végétales, des graines et des parties de plantes résistant à une invasion de lépidoptères qui contiennent des séquences d'acide nucléique recombinant codant les protéines pesticides de la classe TIC4029. L'invention concerne par ailleurs des procédés pour détecter la présence de séquences d'acide nucléique recombinant ou de protéines de la classe TIC4029 dans un échantillon biologique, ainsi que des procédés pour lutter contre des espèces nuisibles lépidoptères à l'aide de l'une quelconque des protéines pesticides TIC4029, TIC4029_1 et TIC4029_8.
