Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications networks, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may be configured to detect a signal blockage affecting one or more antennas of the UE. The signal blockage may be associated with the position of a body, such as a user, relative to the one or more antennas of the UE, which may include how a user places their hand on or near the device during use. The position of the body may block one or more of the antennas of the UE, causing increased signal attenuation and decreased communications performance. The UE may be configured to signal, an indication based on detecting the signal blockage.

L’invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et des dispositifs de communication sans fil. Dans certains réseaux de communication sans fil, un dispositif, tel qu'un équipement utilisateur (UE), peut être configuré pour détecter un blocage de signal affectant une ou plusieurs antennes de l'UE. Le blocage de signal peut être associé à la position d'un corps, tel qu'un utilisateur, par rapport auxdites une ou plusieurs antennes de l'UE, ce qui peut comprendre comment un utilisateur place sa main sur ou à proximité du dispositif lors de l'utilisation. La position du corps peut bloquer une ou plusieurs des antennes de l'UE, ceci entraînant une atténuation accrue du signal et une performance de communication réduite.
