Described herein are techniques for displaying medical images on a first device by using information received from a second device different from the first device and at least one computer different from the first device and the second device. The method comprises: using at least one computer hardware processor of the first device to perform: obtaining, from the second device via at least one communication network, a uniform resource locator (URL) indicating a first plurality of parameters associated with a first view of medical image data for a subject; obtaining, from the at least one computer via the at least one communication network, the medical image data for the subject; after obtaining the URL and the medical image data for the subject: displaying a second view of the medical image data on the display of the first device using the first plurality of parameters indicated by the URL.

Sont décrites des techniques pour afficher des images médicales sur un premier dispositif en utilisant des informations reçues depuis un second dispositif différent du premier dispositif et au moins un ordinateur différent du premier dispositif et du second dispositif. Le procédé consiste à : utiliser au moins un processeur de matériel informatique du premier dispositif pour : obtenir, à partir du second dispositif par l'intermédiaire d'au moins un réseau de communication, un localisateur uniforme de ressources (URL) indiquant une première pluralité de paramètres associés à une première vue de données d'image médicale pour un sujet; obtenir, à partir dudit ordinateur par l'intermédiaire dudit réseau de communication, les données d'image médicale pour le sujet; après obtention de l'URL et des données d'image médicale pour le sujet : afficher une seconde vue des données d'image médicale sur l'écran du premier dispositif en utilisant la première pluralité de paramètres indiqués par l'URL.
