This present invention relates to an anti-skid device adapted to being mounted on tyres of the vehicle wheels to provide traction and wheel to ground contact enhancement in snowy and icy conditions. The device includes a central hub from which protrudes radially three arms which are extended at the outer end by anti-slip components transversally embracing the tread of the tyre. The inner area of the anti-slip components in contact with the tread is designed to increase friction to prevent circumferential displacement of the anti-skid device. When the car is moving a horizontal depression is formed at tyre-ground contact and this provokes a change in wheel radius. Integrated springs follows the depression by moving radially inwards to ensure that the anti-skid device stays attached to the tyre even when an anti-slip component is at the ground contact point at the bottom of wheel. A fastening handle integrated into the hub secures the device on the wheel by simultaneously tightening the arms radially inwards.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif anti-patinage conçu pour être monté sur des pneus des roues de véhicule pour fournir une traction et une amélioration de contact de roue sur le sol dans des conditions de neige et de verglas. Le dispositif comprend un moyeu central à partir duquel font saillie radialement trois bras qui sont étendus au niveau de l'extrémité externe par des éléments antidérapants entourant transversalement la bande de roulement du pneu. La zone interne des composants antidérapants en contact avec la bande de roulement est conçue pour augmenter le frottement afin d'empêcher le déplacement circonférentiel du dispositif anti-patinage. Lorsque la voiture est en mouvement, une dépression horizontale est formée au niveau du contact du pneu avec le sol, ce qui provoque un changement du rayon de la roue. Des ressorts intégrés suivent la dépression en se déplaçant radialement vers l'intérieur pour s'assurer que le dispositif anti-patinage reste fixé au pneu même lorsqu'un composant antidérapant se trouve au point de contact avec le sol au niveau du bas de la roue. Une poignée de fixation intégrée dans le moyeu fixe le dispositif sur la roue en serrant simultanément les bras radialement vers l'intérieur.
