Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device for communicating using beamforming, and an operating method therefor. The electronic device comprises: a plurality of antenna modules which are arranged at different locations and which support beamforming; a communication module for transmitting and receiving a signal through the plurality of antenna modules; at least one processor; and a memory connected to the at least one processor, wherein the memory can store instructions allowing, when executed, the processor to perform beam searching for the plurality of antenna modules, select, on the basis of the result of the beam searching, at least two antenna modules having a beam that satisfies a designated condition from among the plurality of antenna modules, and communicate by alternately using the selected at least two antenna modules.

L'invention concerne, selon divers modes de réalisation, un dispositif électronique permettant de communiquer en utilisant la formation de faisceaux, et son procédé de fonctionnement. Le dispositif électronique comprend : une pluralité de modules d'antenne qui sont agencés à différents emplacements et qui prennent en charge la formation de faisceau ; un module de communication pour émettre et recevoir un signal à travers la pluralité de modules d'antenne ; au moins un processeur ; et une mémoire connectée audit au moins un processeur, la mémoire pouvant stocker des instructions permettant, lorsqu'elle est exécutée, au processeur d’effectuer une recherche de faisceau pour la pluralité de modules d'antenne, de sélectionner, sur la base du résultat de la recherche de faisceau, au moins deux modules d'antenne ayant un faisceau qui satisfait une condition désignée parmi la pluralité de modules d'antenne, et de communiquer par l'utilisation alternée des au moins deux modules d'antenne sélectionnés.

본 발명의 다양한 실시 예들은 빔포밍을 이용하여 통신하는 전자 장치 및 그의 동작 방법에 관한 것이다. 이때 전자 장치는, 서로 다른 위치에 배치되고, 빔포밍을 지원하는 복수의 안테나 모듈들, 상기 복수의 안테나 모듈들을 통해 신호를 송수신하는 통신 모듈, 적어도 하나의 프로세서, 및 상기 적어도 하나의 프로세서와 연결된 메모리를 포함하며, 상기 메모리는, 실행될 때 상기 프로세서로 하여금, 상기 복수의 안테나 모듈들에 대한 빔 서치를 수행하고, 기 빔 서치 결과에 기초하여, 상기 복수의 안테나 모듈들 중에서 지정된 조건을 만족하는 빔을 갖는 적어도 두 개의 안테나 모듈들을 선택하고, 상기 선택된 적어도 두 개의 안테나 모듈들을 교대로 이용하여 통신하도록 제어하는 인스트럭션들을 저장할 수 있다.
