The present invention relates to a system for the encapsulation and controlled release of insecticides to combat Diptera, known as fruit fly, including the families Tephritidae and Drosophilidae. The system protects insecticide molecules against the processes of photolysis and only activates the release of the molecules by direct contact with the flies. The invention is based on the use of mesoporous silica particles as an encapsulating system, and on the functionalisation of the particles with protein molecules. The proteins have a dual function: on the one hand, they are substances that attract the flies; and on the other, they close the pores and only allow them to open when the fly, by contact, releases proteases and other fluids that degrade the protein covering. The formulations with pyrethroids encapsulated in these protein-functionalised mesoporous silica systems retain their insecticide activity after 35 days.

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de encapsulación y liberación controlada de insecticidas para luchar contra Dípteros conocidos como moscas de la fruta, incluyendo las familias Tephritidae y Drosophilidae. Dicho sistema aporta protección a las moléculas de insecticida frente a los procesos de fotolisis y sólo activa la liberación de dichas moléculas por el contacto directo con las moscas. La invención se basa en el uso de partículas mesoporosas de sílice como sistema encapsulante y en la funcionallzación de dichas partículas con moléculas de proteínas. Las proteínas tienen una doble función, por un parte son sustancias atrayentes de las moscas y por otro cierran los poros y sólo permiten la abertura cuando la mosca por contacto libera proteases y otros fluidos que degradan dicha cubierta proteica. Las formulaciones con piretroídes encapsuladas en dichos sistemas de sílice mesoporosa funcíonalizada con proteínas conservan actividad insecticida después de los 35 días.

La présente invention concerne un système d’encapsulation et de libération contrôlée d'insecticides pour lutter contre les diptères connus comme les mouches des fruits, y compris les familles Tephritidae et Drosophilidae. Le système assure une protection aux molécules d'insecticide contre les processus de photolyse et active uniquement la libération desdites molécules par le contact direct avec les mouches. L'invention repose sur l'utilisation de particules mésoporeuses de silice comme système encapsulant et sur la fonctionnalisation desdites particules avec des molécules de protéines. Les protéines ont une double fonction, d'un côté ce sont des substances attirant les mouches et d'autre côté elles ferment les pores et permettent uniquement l'ouverture quand la mouche libère par contact des protéases et d'autres fluides qui dégradent ladite protection protéique. Les formulations avec des pyréthroïdes encapsulés dans lesdits systèmes de silice mésoporeuse fonctionnalisée avec les protéines conservent l'activité insecticide après 35 jours.
