Abstract
(EN) The invention provides a system for destroying contagious and infectious, airborne micro-organisms such as bacteria, staphylococcus, hepatitis, virus and other harmful, viable organisms that may be present in the air. Additionally or alternatively, the system may be employed to remove and/or destroy poisonous gases. The system comprises an air inlet, an air outlet, a surface located between the air inlet and the air outlet, and a light source configured to project light onto said surface; said surface having a coating that comprises a metal organic framework.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système pour détruire des micro-organismes contagieux et infectieux, aériens, tels que des bactéries, des staphylocoques, des virus de type hépatite, et d'autres organismes nuisibles, viables qui peuvent être présents dans l'air. En outre ou en variante, le système peut être employé pour éliminer et/ou détruire des gaz toxiques. Le système comprend une entrée d'air, une sortie d'air, une surface située entre l'entrée d'air et la sortie d'air, et une source de lumière conçue pour projeter de la lumière sur ladite surface ; ladite surface ayant un revêtement qui comprend une structure organométallique.
