Abstract
(EN) A method and system to monitor and autonomously configure an intravascular assembly without medical staff involvement or presence. In this solution, a robotic device is associated with an intravascular assembly, which has tubing through which fluids are delivered intravenously. Monitoring of the tubing is initiated. In response to the monitoring, an errant flow through the tubing is detected; typically, the errant flow results from one of: a kink or twist in the tubing, an air bubble in the tubing, an occlusion or clot in the tubing, and pressure variations. In response to detecting the errant flow, and in advance of an audible alarm being generated in association with the intravascular assembly, a command is then issued to the associated robotic device. The command is configured to initiate, by the robotic device, physical engagement with and mechanical manipulation of the tubing, thereby remediating the errant flow automatically.
(FR) Un procédé et un système de surveillance et de réglage autonome d’un ensemble intravasculaire sans implication ou présence du personnel médical. Dans cette solution, un dispositif robotique est associé à un ensemble intravasculaire, qui présente un tube par lequel sont administrés des fluides par voie intraveineuse. La surveillance du tube est amorcée. En réponse à la surveillance, un écoulement erratique dans le tube est détecté ; de manière générale, l’écoulement erratique résulte de l'un des éléments suivants : un nœud ou une torsion dans le tube, une bulle d'air dans le tube, une occlusion ou un caillot dans le tube, et des variations de pression. En réponse à la détection de l’écoulement erratique, et avant déclenchement d’une alarme sonore qui est générée en association avec l'ensemble intravasculaire, une instruction est alors délivrée au dispositif robotique associé. L’instruction est conçue pour amorcer, par le dispositif robotique, l’entrée en contact physique avec le tube et sa manipulation mécanique, ce qui permet de remédier automatiquement à l'écoulement erratique.
