The invention relates to the characterization of nucleic acid, particularly RNA, and to full-length transcript profiling of RNA. The invention relates to methods, aspects and kits for determining a transcriptome of an organism, including simultaneously capturing sequences of both the 5' and 3' termini of transcripts so as to characterize all transcripts or RNAs and to provide transcription start and termination sites of a transcriptome with nucleotide resolution.

L'invention concerne la caractérisation d'acide nucléique, en particulier d'ARN, et le profilage de transcription de longueur totale d'ARN. L'invention concerne des procédés, des aspects et des kits pour déterminer un transcriptome d'un organisme, comprenant simultanément la capture de séquences à la fois des extrémités 5'et 3' de transcrits de façon à caractériser tous les transcrits ou ARN et à fournir des sites de début et de fin de transcription d'un transcriptome avec une résolution nucléotidique.
