A method of dewatering magnetite to <10% w/w moisture content, including the step of extracting water from the magnetite by virtue of the magnetism of the magnetite, whereby the magnetite pulls together under magnetic attraction thereby squeezing water outwardly and away from the magnetite.

L'invention concerne un procédé de déshydratation de magnétite jusqu'à une teneur en humidité < 10 % p/p, comprenant l'étape consistant à extraire de l'eau de la magnétite grâce au magnétisme de la magnétite, par quoi la magnétite se rassemble sous l'effet d'une attraction magnétique, ce qui permet de presser l'eau vers l'extérieur et à l'extérieur de la magnétite.
