Abstract

A device of a New Radio (NR) User Equipment (UE), a method and a machine readable medium to implement the method. The device includes a Radio Frequency (RF) interface, and processing circuitry coupled to the RF interface, the processing circuitry to: encode for transmission, to a User Equipment (UE), a Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) including a Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) and a channel estimation signal that is time division multiplexed with the PBCH, the channel estimation signal to allow the UE to estimate a channel for the PBCH and including one of a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS), a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) or a Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PT-RS); and apply Discrete Fourier Transform-spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) to the PBCH prior to sending the SSB to the RF interface for transmission.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d’un équipement d’utilisateur (UE) de type nouvelle radio (NR), un procédé et un support lisible par machine pour mettre en œuvre le procédé. Le dispositif comprend une interface radiofréquence (RF) et des circuits de traitement couplés à l’interface RF, les circuits de traitement servant à : coder, aux fins de transmission, vers un équipement d’utilisateur (UE), un bloc de signaux de synchronisation (SSB) comprenant un canal de diffusion physique (PBCH) et un signal d’estimation de canal qui est multiplexé par répartition dans le temps avec le PBCH, le signal d’estimation de canal autorisant l’UE à estimer un canal pour le PBCH et comportant un signal de synchronisation secondaire (SSS) ou un signal de référence de démodulation (DMRS) ou un signal de référence de suivi de phase (PT-RS) ; et appliquer un multiplexage par répartition en fréquences orthogonales à étalement par transformée de Fourier discrète (DFT-s-OFDM) au PBCH avant l’envoi du SSB à l’interface RF aux fins de transmission.
