Methods and devices are provided for the detection and characterization of circulating cells in a blood sample. Such method can include depositing a sample of a bodily fluid on a device comprising carbon nanotubes, wherein the surfaces of the carbon nanotubes are not functionalized; and detecting target cells adhered to the carbon nanotubes.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des dispositifs pour la détection et la caractérisation de cellules circulantes dans un échantillon de sang. Un tel procédé peut comprendre le dépôt d'un échantillon d'un fluide corporel sur un dispositif comprenant des nanotubes de carbone, les surfaces des nanotubes de carbone n'étant pas fonctionnalisées; et la détection de cellules cibles adhérant aux nanotubes de carbone.
