A multifunctional prosthetic heart valve tester having a circuit of fluid channels, wherein the circuit has a main loop of fluid channel capable of providing a first flow path for a testing fluid. There can be a first branch-off point on the main loop having a first branch channel branching off and fluidly connecting the main loop to a three-way connection. There is a second branch-off point on the main loop having a second branch channel branching off and fluidly connecting the main loop to the three-way connection. A third branch-off point is provided on the main loop having a third branch channel branching off and fluidly connecting the main loop to the three-way connection. There is linear motor and a steady-flow pump disposed on the circuit. Wherein selective shut off of certain channels and selective on/off of the linear motor/steady flow pump allows the device to test the prosthetic valve in the following modes: the steady forward flow mode, steady backward flow mode, pulsatile mode, and hybrid mode.

La présente invention concerne un testeur de valvule cardiaque prothétique multifonctionnel doté d'un circuit de canaux de fluide, ledit circuit comprenant une boucle principale de canal de fluide qui fournit un premier trajet d'écoulement pour un fluide de test. La présente invention peut inclure, dans la boucle principale, un premier point de dérivation comprenant un premier canal de dérivation se ramifiant et reliant de manière fluidique la boucle principale à un raccord à trois voies. Un deuxième point de dérivation situé dans la boucle principale comprend un deuxième canal de dérivation se ramifiant et connectant de manière fluidique la boucle principale au raccord à trois voies. Un troisième point de dérivation situé dans la boucle principale comprend un troisième canal de dérivation se ramifiant et reliant de manière fluidique la boucle principale au raccord à trois voies. Un moteur linéaire et une pompe à écoulement constant sont également intégrés dans le circuit. L'arrêt sélectif de certains canaux et l'activation sélective de la pompe à flux continu et du moteur linéaire permettent au dispositif de tester la valvule prothétique dans les modes suivants : mode d'écoulement vers l'avant stable, mode d'écoulement vers l'arrière stable, mode pulsatile et mode hybride.
